  • AF and SF Part Formers with 5, 6 and 7 forming stations

    More Information

    Features

The development of the SF part formers was based on the “net shaping” concept in which a highly rigid frame and advanced functions allow the cold former to produce products to a level of precision not previously possible with a cold former. The SF series features a “fine cutoff” system that significantly reduces cutoff weight variations a “fine feed” system that delivers an extremely precise cutoff face surface, and a “fine slide” system that keeps the ram centered to assure perfect concentricity in every blank. A turn-and-pass transfer system (standard equipment) allows forging a wider range of product types. An optional “saver” transfer mechanism provides a dependable transfer action for hard-to-grip blank types. A standard parallel transfer system can be selected for the AF series.
